TITLE: ``Knowledge and Action in Cognitive Robotics''

ABSTRACT:

This talk reviews some of the recent work being done by the Cognitive Robotics group at the University of Toronto on the relationship between knowledge and action, and between planning and high-level programming. One recent development that will be discussed is an account of what it means for an agent to know how to execute a program, follow a plan, or achieve a goal, in the presence of perceptual actions that can affect what the agent knows.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
